The list of participants of the international creative laboratory NGC Lab, organized by Russian Musical Union, has been formed

The names of young composers who will become members of the Next Generation Composers Lab international creative laboratory have been announced. The list includes several composers from Russia, and one of them will receive a training grant from Russian Musical Union, the organizer of the project.

16 composers from various countries, including young authors from Russia, were selected to participate in the project. A grant for participation in the project from Russian Union of Composers was received by a young author from Kazan, a participant in the "Composer Readings" project Ildar Kamalov. Russian Musical Union also selected a grant recipient - a student who will study in the lab for free. According to the results of voting, it was unanimously decided to give the grant to Yakov Aleksandrov.

The NGC Lab program provides for workshops and individual sessions with the mentor. Participants will have to create a musical theme for a given excerpt from the film and then record it at the Mosfilm Studio with a symphony orchestra. As a result of the laboratory work, every participant will receive a professionally mixed track of his or her composition.
