Announcement on postponing the creative laboratory NGC Lab

Due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, it was decided to postpone all events of the Next Generation Composers Lab international creative laboratory, which was to be held in Moscow from July 19 to 24, to the year of 2022.

The organizer of the project is Russian Musical Union, the official partner is Russian Union of Composers, and the main mentor of the Laboratory is the Hollywood star Harry Gregson-Williams.

New dates for the Next Generation Composers Lab will be announced shortly. Previously purchased tickets for the concert of Harry Gregson-Williams, lectures and workshops will be valid for the new dates of the events. Also, you may return the purchased tickets and get full refund at the place of purchase if you are uncomfortable with the new dates.

The participants of the laboratory, selected following the results of the creative competition retain their places and will be able to take part in the Next Generation Composers Lab under the same conditions.

The Next Generation Composers Lab is Russia’s first international creative laboratory for film composers. Music industry experts from around the world will talk about the creative and technical aspects of writing an original film soundtrack. The main audience of the event will be professional musicians and composers from 34 countries selected by an expert jury as part of a creative competition. The headliner of the laboratory in 2021 will be a famous American composer, author of dozens of soundtracks for popular Hollywood films (Shrek, The Martian), Golden Globe, and Grammy nominee Mr. Harry Gregson-Williams.
