13.04.2016 With the support of the RMU, the festival "Spring in Russia" is held
The 16th Moscow International Chamber Music Festival "Spring in Russia" was launched in the capital, organized by the P.I. Tchaikovsky State Quartet, Association of laureates of the International P.I. Tchaikovsky Competition and SBIC "Mosconcert". RMU is a partner of the festival.

While visiting Moscow to participate in the All-Russian Forum “Music Education. Issues and Challenges of the XXI century”, organized by the RMU, Silja Fischer, the Secretary General of the International Music Council (IMC) of UNESCO, became a guest of the “Khudsovet” show on the TV channel “Russia – Culture”.

30.11.2015 Experts discussed the issues of music education on the forum organized by RMU
All-Russian Forum “Music Education. Issues and Challenges of the XXI century” took place in Moscow on November 25-27, 2015. This large-scale three-day event, organized by the Russian Musical Union (RMU), hosted the representatives of the country’s music universities, leading specialists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don and other Russian cities. Foreign experts also participated in the event: Ian Smith – President of the European Music Council (EMC), Silja Fischer – Secretary General of the International Music Council (IMC), Grzegorz Kurzhinsky – a member of the European Association of Conservatories (AEC).

11.11.2015 The festival “Russian Stars of the World of Jazz” was supported by RMU
The XII Moscow international festival “Russian Stars of the World of Jazz” took place on November 13-15, 2015 under the aegis of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO and with the support of the Russian State TV and Radio Centre and RMU. All three festival concerts were held in the halls of the Moscow International House of Music.

07.02.2015 RMU representatives took part in the Fifth European Forum on Music
From 11 to 14 June 2015 RMU representatives attended the Fifth European Forum on Music held in Riga. The European Music Council (EMC) organized the event.
